PREMA

Prema is a Sanskrit word meaning "love" or "affection." Rather than selfish love (kama), prema refers to a divine love for God/Source or the Higher Self. The Goddess Freja of Norse Mythology wept the tears of love and lament for her far away lover - tears that would turn to gold. In Eastern mythology, White Tara was born from the tears from Chenrezig's left eye, and Green Tara was born from the tears of his right eye. This collection explores the artist's deep and powerful connection to and expression of the divine feminine.
